• Sinovac + One of any of the above-approved vaccine

How many times one can perform Umrah?

One umrah in 10 days is being allowed to one person due to the increasing number of pilgrims and amid Omicron virus.

Eatmarna Application:

All those pilgrims who wish to perform Umrah or want to enter the Holly mosque for the prayer or any other purpose should get an appointment and ticket through this application so that most people can be managed according to the SOPs made for the Covid -19 virus prevention.

Remember, there is no option to modify the Dates of Permit to perform Umrah, but you can cancel the appointment through the Eatmarna Application 4 hours before the entry time and you need to apply for the issuance of a new permit.

Guidelines for Air carrier 

Due to the constant increase in the number of Coronavirus (COVID- 19) pandemic cases in the kingdom, the GACA issued a new circular covering the revised version 21 of the safety guidelines and procedures about Institutional Quarantine and Home Quarantine for the passengers entering the kingdom through any airport either they are vaccinated or unvaccinated and coming from the countries which are not included in the list of the banned country.

The booklet covers the procedures about Institutional Guidelines and home quarantine for the passengers coming from non-restricted countries.

It Includes the 

• General provision, 
• Cost of the Quarantine
• Duration of Institutional and home quarantine and its Procedure, 
• List of institutional quarantine facilities approved by the ministry of municipal, rural affairs and housing 
• For passengers coming from Ethiopia, Afghanistan,
• Travelers coming from suspended countries due to Omicron, 
• Pre-Travel procedures
• Rules and responsibilities of air carriers
• Upon arrival Procedure
• Transportation procedure
• Penalties

General Provision 

• Institutional Quarantine:

The passengers coming from foreign countries are made to stay in special facilities approved by the ministry of tourism for an appropriate time period.

• Vaccination / Immunity status

All Saudi nationals who have registered at the "Tawakkalna" Application and have received two doses of the vaccine approved in the kingdom.

All residents who received vaccine approved in Saudi Arabia are also considered immune.

Non- Citizens & Residents who are vaccinated for not approved in the kingdom but received a booster dose of an approved vaccine in the kingdom. 

There must be valid proof of vaccination with registration in the "Quddum".

All passengers must apply for the institutional Quarantine or recent recovery from the coronavirus vaccine. 

• Pre- Arrival Covid-19 Test 

72 hours before departure A negative covid-19 test report.

• Coronavirus Test

One sample on 1st day of Quarantine and one on the last day of the Quarantine will be taken, both should be negative to enter the kingdom.

• Tawakkalna Application

All passengers must register themselves on this application and follow the date of the coronavirus testing.

• Duration of  Institutional Quarantine

5 days for people visiting from Non- Restricted countries and 3 days for the people who received one dose of vaccine in the kingdom.

• Exemption from the PCR testing

Children under age 8, spouse of Saudi national

• The Place or City of Quarantine. 

The city of arrival shall be the city of Quarantine.

• Medical Insurance

All passengers must have medical insurance that covers the covid-19 treatment to meet the expense of the medical treatment including quarantine of 14 days.

• Passport

All passengers including citizens of GCC should carry a valid passport.

• Cost of the Quarantine and Package

The passenger shall bear the cost of the package purchased at the time of the boarding.

As of 20th March 2022, the quarantine restrictions have been lifted and all are allowed to offer prayers and perform umrah without advance booking on Any application like tawalkalna or e umrah gate process.
