Notification of Ch. Parvez Elahi as Chief Minister Punjab

 

Chief Secretary Punjab issued a notification after the short order of the 3 members bench of the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan. 

According to the notification, Ch. Parvez Elahi has been declared duly elected Chief Minister of Punjab in the election held on 22nd July 2022. 

The supreme court was approached by Parvez Elahi after the Deputy speaker Sardar Dost Mohammad Mazari Declared Hamza Shahbaz as Successful candidate  while rejecting the 10 votes of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) upon the direction received from Party president Ch. Shujaat Hussain and deputy speaker passed ruling that as per reference of Article 63 of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the and supreme court of Pakistan judgement he is rejecting the votes of Pmlq and declaring Hamza shahbaz as a chief minister of Punjab. 

The opposition alliance including pmln ppp jui f anp. Bnp. Baap. Mqm and other parties demands the full court of supreme court of Pakistan to discuss the issues and pass a judgement. But the Chief Justice Umar ata Bandial has rejected this demand saying thay full court is establish over complicated issue. 

Governor Punjab has refused to take oath from Ch. Parvez Elahi and now president of Pakistan will take oath from Winning candidate Today at 2 am.
