Notification of upto 300 Units waving Fuel price Adjustment 

On the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, consumers using 300 units and less will not be charged fuel adjustment charge in their electricity bills, a notification has been issued. 

On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the payment of new bills has been started, while the last date of bill payment has also been extended.

The notification states that the citizens who have paid the fuel adjustment charge will be deducted from their next month's bills. 

Earlier, the Prime Minister announced at the beginning of this month not to collect fuel adjustment charges from millions of consumers of the country who consume up to 300 units of electricity, but the notification was not issued due to which the citizens had to submit the bills. It should be remembered that 560 billion rupees were collected from electricity consumers in the first 7 months of 2022 in the interest of fuel price adjustment.

    ALL THE DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES & K-ELECTRIC

SUBJECT: IMPLEMENTATION OF PRIME MINISTER DIRECTIONS REGARDING FUEL CHARGES ADJUSTMENT TO BE RECOVERED IN MONTH OF AUGUST 2022 BILLING MONTHLY BY XWDISCOS AND K-ELECTIRC

THE UNDERSIGNED IS HEREBY DIRECTED TO CONVEY THE PM DIRECTIONS CONVEYED VIDE LETTER DATED 3RD SEPTEMBER 2022 REGARDING THE FUEL CHARGES ADJUSTMENT TO BE CHARGED IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2022, DISCOS AND KELECTRIC ARE DIRECTED TO IMPLEMENT THE FOLLOWING: 

NON-ToU DOMESTIC NON-PROTECTED CUSTOMERS HAVING 201-300 UNIT CONSUMPTION SHALL NOT PAY ANY FPA IN MONTH OF AUGUST 2022 BILLING MONTH.

KEEPING IN VIEW OF THIS IT IS FURTHER DIRECTED TO :

REVISE THE ALREADY ISSUED BILL, AND ISSUE NEW EXTENDED TIME AND DATE

ISSUE THE CREDIT OF FPA IN SEPTEMBER 2022 BILL IF ALREADY PAID.
