UHS MDCAT 2022 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

 The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore shall conduct the Medical & Dental College Admission

Test (MDCAT)-2022, on behalf of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and the Government of

Punjab on Sunday, 13th November 2022 in the following 08 cities of the Punjab:

Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Sialkot, and Gujranwala

For guidance of the candidates, the following instructions are being issued:

(i) It is mandatory for every candidate to get a print-out of his/her Admittance Card bearing his/her

roll number and test center.

(ii) The candidate who is registered in Punjab by the PMC must download his/her Admittance Card

from UHS website (www.uhs.edu.pk) by clicking “Download MDCAT-2022 Admittance Card”

button provided on the Homepage with effect from Monday, 7th November 2022. (iii) To access their Admittance Card, the candidates will have to enter their Full Name and Last Four

Digits of their ID (i.e. CNIC/Passport/B-Form) used by them for registration of MDCAT-2022. (iv) The candidates are advised to download and take a print-out of their admittance card on

white, plain, A4 size paper.

(i) Before heading out to the test centre, the candidates must make sure that they have the proper

address of the centre.

(ii) The entry into the test centres with the following items is strictly prohibited with penalty of

immediate removal of the candidate from the centre and cancellation of paper.

Cell Phone, Calculator, Books or Notes, Weapons or Arms, Clip Board, Bags, Electronic

Devices such as Smart and Digital Watches, Headphones, Bluetooth, Metallic Pens, etc.

(iii) Candidates are advised to be at their respective test centres from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on 13th

November 2022. Centres will be sealed at 10:00 AM and nobody will be allowed to enter after

that. The test shall start at 11:00 AM and will conclude at 02:30 PM.

(iv) Candidates must bring:

(a) Original CNIC/POC/JC/Passport/B-Form (Photocopies are not acceptable). Please bring the same

document with which you registered for MDCAT-2022;

(b) A print-outs of Admittance Card issued by the University;

(c) A clean, preferably transparent clip board with nothing written on it;

(d) Two blue ball point pens (not pointers, markers, pencils, jell pens, ink pens, etc.);

(e) A small, transparent bottle of drinking water.

(v) A candidate who fails to bring Original CNIC/POC/JC/Passport/B-Form and print-out of

his/her Admittance Card shall not be allowed to appear in the test. Any other document

except those mentioned above shall not be acceptable for appearance in the test.

(vi) Physical search of candidates will be conducted before entrance into the test centre.

(vii) Parents/relatives will not be allowed inside and around the premises of test centre. Under Section

144 imposed by the Government, there shall be no arrangements for their stay outside the centre

due to security reasons. They should drop their children at their respective centres and pick them

up after the test.

(viii) No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the

candidates. In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items especially

mobile phone inside the centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be

taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions.
