MDCAT 2023 Syllabus PMDC Announced date

PMDC declares the date in a 2nd meeting held in Islamabad. According to the sources, the 27th August Will be the final date of MDCAT 2023.

MDCAT 2023 SYLLABUS

MDCAT is a  MCQs based test taken by the provincial Medical universities across the Pakistan. 

UHS LAHORE will be conducting exam in Punjab and will publish merit lists. MDCAT result will be announced same day on the website of UHS.

MDCAT 2023 merit calculation formula 

 The top 5000 students in the merit lists will be applying on the bank of Punjab portal and will upload documents scan pictures and their merit will be calculated on the basis of Matric, F.Sc and MDCAT result.

Pattern of Question Paper MDCAT 2023-24

 As per PMDC syllabus 2023, the test shall consist of one paper containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) - four options with single best answer- divided into Four (05) sections, namely: 

(i) Biology (68 MCQs) 

(ii) Chemistry (54 MCQs)

 (iii) Physics (54 MCQs) 

(iv) English (18 MCQs) 

(v) Logical Reasoning (06 MCQs)

Time duration  MDCAT 2023-24

The duration of Test shall be three and a half hour (210 minutes). Total marks shall be 200.

Negative Marking MDCAT 2023-24

There shall be No Negative Marking in the test. For each correct answer, one (01) mark shall be awarded to a candidate. No mark shall be deducted for not attempting a question

MDCAT Admittance Card 2023

All the registered candidates appearing in MDCAT-2023-2024 from Punjab can download their Admittance Cards from the University website (www.uhs.edu.pk). 

A candidate who fails to bring Original CNIC/POC/JC/Passport/B-Form and print-out of his/her Admittance Card shall not be allowed to appear in the test.

Important Instructions to apply online for the Punjab University Admission Form

• Applying Procedure:
  • Add Personal & Educational Information & then Upload Educational Documents.
  • Do Final Submission. (Note: After Final Submission you will not be able to edit your entered information)
  • Choose your desired Admission Test category from Offered list.
  • Fee Challan will be generated for selected category, Take printout using Print Challan & button & the Fee can be paid at any branch of HBL, UBL or Mobile Banking through 1Bill.
  • After depositing fee, you need to Generate Application by uploading picture of Deposited Fee evidence.
• General Instructions:
  • While filling the form, You can move to Previous Tabs (Steps) by clicking on desired tab (e.g. Personal Info.), if needed to Change/Update/View any information but before Final Submission.
  • Remember, once you have applied in a Test Category then you will not be able to apply in any other category. So be very careful.
  • In case any candidate who is found at any time to have obtained admission by making any miss-statement in the Admission Forms or by willful concealment of any material fact, (particularly about marks, division, previous admission to the Department/Institute/Center/College or employment, expulsion, conviction etc., and fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her admission shall stand as cancelled and all fees or other dues paid by him/her.
  Note: University of the Punjab reserves the right to cancel the Application at any stage, in-case of In-Eligibility, False Information or Missing/Incomplete information/document(s) etc. without any intimation.

• Applicants are Advised to fill their complete information in the form as the same will be used for further admission process.

• Please note that, your application will not be entertained unless you do "Generate Application" step, after depositing fee challan.

  • The candidates who have exceeded maximum age brackets must apply for Age Relaxation and Session Gap simultaneously with the submission of online Admission Form so that he/she may obtain the certificate within time after due process.
    The candidates must submit an application duly referred by the Head of the Department (where admission is applied) along with all the documents (as required for admission) addressing to the Registrar, University of the Punjab, Lahore Certificate of Age Relaxation and Session Gap may be collected thereafter from Office of Deputy Registrar (General).
• Special Notes:
