Income Tax Relief for Salaried Employees

 گریڈ 17 اور اس سے اوپر والے سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہ سے وزیر اعظم فنڈ کے لیے ایک دن کی تنخواہ کاٹنے کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری 

The undersigned is directed to refer to Cabinet Division's decision in case No. 20/04/2023 dated 07-02-2023 on the above subject and to state that Government of Pakistan has established a fund namely "Prime Minister Relief Fund for Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Victims" to extend maximum support to the Turkish and Syrian Governments and the people to help them cope with the destruction caused by the Earthquake. The Cabinet has accordingly been pleased to direct that:

i.

Donate one month's salary of all Ministers, Minister of State, Advisors and SAPMS to the "Prime Minister Relief Fund for Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Victims".

Government Servants, in grade 17 and above, including the ones

working in MP-Scales and other special Government Scales, shall

contribute one day salary to the "Prime Minister Relief Fund

for Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Victims"

2.

The amount of contribution shall not be included in the emoluments of the officers concerned for calculation of income tax and deduction of the recovery of the House Rent Charges.

5. All proceeds received in the name of the Fund will be credited to the public accounts of the Federal Government under following head of account:
